Course Description

Recommended for All Grade 9 Students: Introduction course to ALL other courses within the Applied Commerce Education (ACE) program. 

​What is a business and how do they operate? Are you interested in starting your own business in the future? Do you want to learn how businesses affect your everyday life?

​Business Innovations in an introductory course which allows you to sample the various areas within the ACE program. The course offers you the opportunity to explore business-related topics such as the economy, entrepreneurship, marketing, retailing, and finance. Throughout the course you will apply the concepts and strategies learned to a variety of creative business activities/projects.  With an emphasis on technology infusion, students will learn how to use current technologies to demonstrate learning outcomes.
