Drafting Design Technology 30S (DDT30S)
Course Description
Drafting is a form of graphic communication concerned with the preparation of drawings needed to develop and manufacture a product. Grade 11 Drafting uses a computer-aided drafting and design software (AutoCAD) to create detailed drawings for machinery, tools and other mechanical products. This course is a continuation of the skills and concepts introduced in DDT20G which includes advanced mechanical drafting, and the introduction to architectural drafting. Evaluation is based on drawing assignments and blueprint reading tests
