Intermediate Concert Choir 20S (CHO20S)

Course Description

This one credit course is open to all Grade 10 students and meets every day throughout Semester 2. Classes are largely rehearsal based in preparation for performances including Winkler Festival, community functions, and Spring Concert.  Students will learn the essentials of good vocal and choral technique, through emphasis on expression, breath support, reading choral scores, singing in harmony, and singing with energy.  Class time is also spent learning music theory and music history, with an emphasis on project-based learning. ​
