Mennonite Studies 41G (MST41G)

Course Description

Mennonite Studies gives students as opportunity to explore the dominant culture of this region. We will start our exploration during the times of the Roman Empire and will move into the Middle Ages. The Reformation and the Anabaptist Movement will be examined and followed to the wide variety of modern Mennonite denominations. The course will examine modern Mennonite beliefs and try to gain an understanding of how these have evolved. We will use a variety of techniques to explore our subject matter such as debates, discussions, lectures, guests, and field trips.   ​
