Course Description

Personal finance skills are essential in everyday life. Many students will acquire their first part time job while in school.  Students are starting to dream about future purchases that require financial planning such as buying a car, travelling or pursuing post-secondary education. This course will help you learn how to effectively manage your personal finances.

Personal Finance focuses on developing fundamental financial literacy skills, which are earning, saving, investing, spending, and giving. With an emphasis on technology infusion, students will learn how to use current technologies to conduct research and complete daily financial tasks.
