Textile Arts & Design 30S (TAD30S)
Course Description
Formally known as Clothing and Design, Textile Arts & Design focuses on enhanced knowledge and skill development in clothing design and construction. Students will examine the areas of creative costuming, cultural fashion design, and consumer practices that have an impact on individuals and communities. This course will follow the fashion industry though design and illustration, marketing, and merchandising while acknowledging the environmental and social justice influences on local communities.
Recommended Prerequisite
- Recommended credit in at least one of: Clothing & Design 20S or Clothing & Design 10S, but not required
