Course Description
Note: All students are required to complete History 30S even those who are working towards a Provincial Technical Diploma.
How has Canada’s history shaped the Canada of today? This course will be divided into the following topics: First Peoples and New France, British North America, Becoming a Sovereign Nation, Achievements and Challenges and Defining Contemporary Canada.
