Choral 20S (CHL20S)
Course Description
This one credit course is open to all Grade 10 students! Students do NOT need to have any previous experience with choir or music. The course is largely rehearsal based in preparation for performances at Choralfest, the GVC Winter Concert, and other local events. Students will learn the essentials of good vocal and choral technique through emphasis on expression, good breath support, reading choral scores, singing in harmony, and singing with energy. Class time is also spent learning about music theory, history, song writing, audio production, and more.
