Drafting Design Technology 40S (DDT40S)
Course Description
Drafting is a form of graphic communication concerned with the preparation of drawings needed to develop and manufacture a product. Grade 12 Drafting uses a computer-aided drafting and design software (AutoCAD) to create and design floor plans and front elevations of a building. This course is a continuation of the skills and concepts introduced in DDT30S which includes instruction for preparing architectural working drawings. Evaluation is based on Workbook Review Questions, Drawing Assignments, and a Manual Board Drawing.
