Drama 10S (DRM10S)
Course Description
This one credit course introduces dramatic elements through an exploration of drama forms. This course emphasizes ‘learning by doing’ and student participation in all activities and phases of production is required. Students will explore various themes through drama while developing skills on how to create dramatic action and communicate meaning by using their body, movement, and voice. Students will also participate in activities that will help build a sense of community and personal confidence. Students will develop skills in creating, rehearsing and performing. Sample projects: The Incredible Journey, Reader’s Theatre, Living Art, Puppetry.
