Drama 40S (DRM40S)
Course Description
Students will develop their creative and artistic awareness of drama as they refine their critical analysis skills, explore the social relevance of theatre art from a cultural perspective, and examine the structure of dramatic form. This is a practical course in which students are expected to demonstrate their accumulated knowledge in production projects. Students will collaborate on several “Lunch Bag” productions during the course of the semester, taking responsibility for the selection of suitable scripts, acting, directing and technical support. This course also prepares students for outside auditions.
