Course Description
This introductory course is about YOU and your relationships with others. The course begins with examining effective communication skills and the roles and responsibilities of adolescents within their family and community. Students will study human needs and the growth and development of adolescents. The course will explore the tools needed for healthy friendships and nurturing relationships including developing tolerance and understanding of our multicultural and global society. There will be a comprehensive look at gaining confidence, self-esteem, learning self-care and overall wellness. You will explore becoming your best YOU.
