Physics 40S (PHY40S)
Course Description
Topics studied include forces and motion, electric and magnetic fields, energy, planetary mechanics, current induction, and medical applications. Physics 40S develops many of the concepts introduced in Physics 30S. Again, the important skills of problem solving, and mathematical analysis will be emphasized, and a variety of labs and demonstrations will be performed. Physics 40S is required or recommended for many careers in engineering, technology, and medicine/health.
