Vocal Jazz 30S (VCJ30S)
Course Description
Students who wish to audition for vocal jazz should register and will be contacted about an audition time. Grade 11 students who audition may be placed in Tonic or Inversions if their audition is successful.
Tonic is an auditioned group of singers in grade 10 & 11. Students must also be part of the Intermediate or Senior Choir for at least one semester in this school year. Group members must be available to perform at Winter & Spring Concerts, Vocal Jazz Workshop, Jazz Café, Winkler Festival and Brandon Jazz Festival.
Inversions is an auditioned group of singers in grade 11 & 12. Students must also be part of the Senior Choir for at least one semester. Group members must be available to perform at Winter & Spring Concerts, Vocal Jazz Workshop, Jazz Café, Winkler Festival and Brandon Jazz Festival.
